Project specific aims

• Development of the Modular Course for weighing machinery technicians
• Development of the international web site related to WMT and weighing standardization
• Improvement of knowledge of new modern working methods in the weighing industries
• Help trainees and older technicians with the transition from the old local standards to new EU standards
• Improvement of the opportunities of the target group on the local labour markets

• Specialized software - interactive tool for learning, description of particular modules, each ended by the obligatory tests of knowledge, 5 presentation and 3 tests for each module (+ 1 final test for the total programme)

Weighing Process Simulation Software

• Simulation of the process of calculating the norms and technical parameters
Software consists of:
• technical sheets
• parameterisation tools
• graphic result tables
• report generator

Impact of the project

• The impact is expected on the two target groups:
• older technicians over 50 years old will be able to get sustainable advantage in the labour market
• young trainees and graduates will get new job opportunities in the sector
• The project will influence regional competitiveness of the SMEs in the weighing sector and indirectly the employment in the region
